The grading scheme applicable to courses in the programme will be that of the Department offering the course. Where a course is developed specifically for this programme and offered by the IMAREE, the grading scheme shall be as follows:

A = 75%>
B = 65-74%
C = 50-64%
D = 40-50%
F = <40%

For classification of the degree, the regulations currently applicable to the B.Sc. in Biology in the Faculty of Natural Sciences shall apply. This is supported by the fact that at least 70% of the credits taken are core to the discipline and are therefore classed as ‘Major’ courses for the purposes of degree classification.
