Exemptions may be granted where the student has already completed the course or a similar course at the appropriate level and has gained at least a pass with grade C.

Exemptions for CXC-CAPE subjects are specified in course outlines and students are encouraged to examine those as they register to determine if they are eligible for exemptions.

The University regulations on the matter of exemptions shall apply in all cases.
