The University of Guyana Berbice Campus (UGBC), in collaboration with the Nand  Persaud Group of Companies, recently conducted a Basic Microbiology Training  Workshop which saw fifty-six (56) persons, including biology teachers, staff from the  Hydrometeorological Centre, Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) and National  Agriculture, Research and Extension Institute (NAREI) benefiting.  

The University of Guyana will be hosting two events this Michaelmas Term. The events are as follows:

The University of Guyana (UG) on Friday, October 22, 2021, extended a warm welcome to over nine thousand new and continuing students who are scheduled to commence classes on Monday, October 25, 2021, with various speakers urging them to work diligently and remain focussed as they continue in their quest to achieve academic success.

In response to a recognition of a skills gap within both the public and private sectors, the University of Guyana’s School of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (SEBI) has introduced a new Masters of Science (MSc) in Supply Chain Management (SCM) adding to the list of several new programmes being introduced by the University at both the Undergraduate and Post-graduate levels for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.

The Confucius Institute, University of Guyana will be offering an online Credit and Non-credit Mandarin Chinese Course to UG and Non-UG learners from October 25, 2021, to February 5, 2022.
