Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Computer / Network Technician within the Tactical Online Services Unit, University of Guyana.
The Computer/Network Technician is responsible for maintaining the security, continuity and support of the University's core computing environment. Key duties include hands-on deployment, installation and upgrading of all IT infrastructure (educational support technologies, computer hardware and networks); providing prompt troubleshooting and repair for technical issues; offering technical assistance and basic training to users; and supporting long-term stability through effective maintenance, network uptime and logging of all support activities.
Five(5) CSEC Subjects (inclusive of Mathematics and English – Grades I-III) PLUS A+ and Network+ Certifications, along with five years of post-certification experience.

Salary Scale: UB8: $204,978 - $290,266
