The University of Guyana on Monday, November 6, 2023, hosted its Turkeyen and Tain Talks 23 titled: “Prepare Rather Than Fear – Venezuela’s Illegal Claim and its Possible Effects” at the Savannah Suite, Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Guyana.
There were several high-level speakers addressing various aspects of this very important and timely conversation; these include: A Brief Historical Overview and Note on Effective Occupation by Dr Nigel Gravesande, Historian and Registrar of the University of Guyana; A Summary Overview of Guyana’s Case in the International Court of Justice by the Hon.
