The University of Guyana (UG) online application process will be opened for the second time from August 1 to midnight August 18, 2013.
Students awaiting GCE, CAPE, CSEC, GTI and other examination results, who would like to attend UG from September 2013, are asked to make full use of this opportunity.
The Guyana Prize for Literature Committee has planned a series of activities which will lead up to the presentation of the 2012 Awards.
The following judges have been appointed: Prof Jane Bryce, Chairman; Mr Brendan de Caires; Dr Louis Regis; Prof Daizal Samad and Miss Lori Shelbourn. The judges have read the entries and are ready to meet to discuss them and arrive at decisions for the awards. Several other activities have already taken place.

The University is inviting interested persons to participate in the competition to select a motto/theme and logo for the University’s 50th Anniversary, which will be observed from April 2013 to November 2014.
The selected entry will be used to brand all official anniversary items and events such as print publications, merchandise etc.
